Marine Update

Our Marine has finished his Second tour in Iraq and is back aboard ships of the 22nd MEU which recently completed training in Djibouti.

I got an email from his girlfriend recently and she had found this picture of him on the MEU website, looks like it was taken between when they set sail in November and the posting date of the picture gallery she found it in which was December 2nd, 2005.
(he's 3rd from the left lol)

He should be back in the USA May 3rd!!!!!

Bronchitis and Broken Bones - my year so far (grin)

Well I started the year off with bronchitis that just would not go away, 4 rounds of antibiotics, a shot and 12 days of prednisone, whew. Then the next lovely sunny day I thought it would be nice to go out and soak up some of the sun. I step off the porch and my left foot collapses beneath me, I try to recover - adding the right foot which promptly collapses beneath me as well. I continue my fall with a sickenening snap in the right leg.... LOL twisting both ankles and breaking the smaller bone in my lower right leg just above the ankle. 3 weeks and 2 days later it feels much better LOL. The rest of the year should be smooth sailing after all this :). Happy Spring!
